For three busy weeks in September, online event guide Going.com and flawless media invite you to the Going.com Lounge at the Chelsea Market. We’ve taken over a beautiful raw event space at this historic Meat Packing market, transformed it into a stylish destination for up-and-coming artists, fashion designers, publishers, and musicians, and invited the Going.com community (including new members) to relax, have a drink, and enjoy the arts in style.
Evenings at the Going.com Lounge are packed with free events every night, featuring music by DJs from the Dubspot DJ Academy and sponsored cocktails courtesy of Belvedere Vodka, Moet Chandon, Hennessy, and Yuengling beer. The space will be decorated with art, photography and furniture from a hand-picked group of young, downtown designers including M. Dreeland, Reka Nyari, NOSI design, Erna Leon, Nicky Digital, and Church of Pop. Spotlight events include salon-style fashion shows by designers Omar Yapor and Far Couture and cocktail receptions hosted by Jukebox Heroes, Buzz, and the Art of Shop.
During the day, the Going Lounge will feature a number of other fun activities. We’ll host sample sales for the Art of Shop will host a week of name brand sample sales, Equinox Fitness will host free lunchtime yoga classes, and aspiring DJs can even partake in free lessons from the Dubspot DJ Academy.
Going.com (formerly Hey Let’s Go) is a rapidly growing online event guide and social networking site, dedicated to keeping people on the pulse of “What's Happening” and “Who's Going” in the city. The site features editorial picks and exclusive options for parties, nightlife, arts, culture, music, shows, and more. They’ve already taken New York, Boston, Chicago, LA, and San Francisco by storm, and will be coming to Miami, Toronto, and London soon.
